This open
letter we made for tell our hope for our lovely city, Samarinda. As a teenager,
we want to live in a nice city for our life, and we think we want Samarinda be
a worthy city for child. We sure that a wothy city for child is people’s
hungering, especially parents, because make them feeling safe and confident for
their child’s growth.
Like we know
that Samarinda since 2014 was socialization about “Samarinda to worthy city for
child” and toward Samarinda be a worthy city for child represent one of Mister
Mayor and Mister Deputy Mayor’s vision. But, the fact until now we can see
everyday in every intersecting street there’s so much ANJAL (abbreviation for anak
jalanan) that selling newspaper,
singing, clean some vehicle that stop with duster hope they got some money even
asking for give them, conscious or not if their activity bring them to have bad
behavior, such as criminal, free sex, and drugs, though child is determinant
how Samarinda city in future, and child have their rights and obligation as
described in UU No. 23 tahun 2003.
Sir, do you
have any plan for overcome this problem ? is it well done ? Because we don’t
see any change for this problem, in fact one of this problem area close to your
official house. Child that use to studying in school or get love and protection
from their parents oppositely in street that can harm their life, they can’t
get what they must have and do, where’s their right ? are they do their
obligation ? All those things that make Samarinda very far for getting mention
a worthy city for child.
What a nice
thing if : there’s a program and routine socialization to citizen for
motivating their awareness so that help goverment for realize Samarinda as
worthy city for child, for who will be
parent they must have ability to realize their child’s right and obligation,
and then special education for ANJAL so
that they can get their right and obligation, coaching parents of ANJAL that
can help the economy, and we hope to you sir, can realize our dream that same
with your vision, Samarinda not just toward but also Samarinda be a worthy city
for child.
